10-19-2001 Friday - Lewana called me and we talked for about 2 hours. She had remembered I had blond natural curly hair, a twin brother John and a scar on my left shoulder. When she said this to me I felt chills running down my spine, because I knew this was the proof I was waiting for. She seemed like someone I could get close to. Lewana also had photos, from the time she worked at The Children's Home. She had saved them all these years, and thinking maybe she would run into someone who would like to have them that lived there. She told me about her jobs at The Children's Home, but always felt like it really wasn't a job. She enjoyed the children so much and loved them like her own. This is what made her so special to me. Ever since we first spoke again, we have become the best of friends. We have spent many wonderful times together talking of the home, and now I wondered what has happened to all of the children. At this time in my research I felt that there will be many blessings in store for me. I am able to start putting my past together.
